So, one of the first pieces I have ever made is this lovely little talk bubble pendant.
After I got my kiln and fired the pendant I could not figure out what I was going to color it with. A book I looked at had concrete, which seems fun, but I wasn't sure it would work for this. So, finally I just decided to add resin that I colored red and white.
My first problem was that the back of the pendant was not flat. So, I had to make it a little pillow to sit on that would help it stay flat. After that, it was actually pretty easy. I just mixed the resin as directed. Added a little color and I think it turned out pretty good. It still needs to be polished, but the resin takes 3 days to cure, so I just took a quick photo once is solidified enough to move it. 🙂 I am impatient like that.
